Michael is a serial entrepreneur and has been a CEO of Euroxchanger Currency Services, a Central Bank of Ireland regulated foreign exchange Company for 8 years. Euroxchanger is a proprietary technology company, having developed an algorithmic system model with patents filed for its online currency matching system. Between 2005 and 2016 Michael oversaw a 1000% increase in turnover and gross profit and operates the company's hedging strategies.
Prior to this, Michael worked in Economic Development with Down Business Centre, Banbridge District Council and Donegal County Enterprise Board over a 5 year period managing business start-up and development programmes. In these enterprise development roles, he assisted over 100 businesses through the start-up process.
Michael established SeedUps as an innovative online matching service that allows entrepreneurs to raise 25,000 up to 500,000 seed to start-up capital. The key differentiator of the service and methodology is to allow micro seed investments in a collaborative way using the collective wisdom of crowd.
Michael holds a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Liverpool, a BA Hons Economics Degree and a Certificate in Marketing Diploma (CIM Dip).
Sean has an extensive 18 year background in Business Banking within NI, working within both Bank of Ireland and more recently Ulster Bank in the SME Business Banking Sector, managing over 150 business banking relationships within a wide range of business sectors.
Sean has extensive experience in helping businesses become established and expand throughout various stages of growth. Prior to a career in banking, Sean worked with HM Revenue & Customs based in the North West region.
Gavin joined the EuroXchanger team from Intel, where he worked as a software developer. Prior to this, Gavin contributed to a social networking project for Diageo, which provided him with solid experience in this burgeoning sector.
Gavin holds a Masters in Software Engineering (MSc) and a BSc Hons Computing Degree from Queens University. He is responsible for Software Development and Technology at EuroXchanger
Stacey oversees the collation of transactions and banking records for all of the units. Stacey has been with EuroXchanger for over 8 years, covering a variety of roles within the business and having previous worked with Barclays Bank in the Isle of Man
Terrie has been with EuroXchanger since formation in 2005 and is responsible for the efficient management of customer facing staff across all units. Terrie oversees the branch functions and works closely with the rest of the management team to ensure all staff adhere to the stringent policies and procedures required for a bureau de change.
